How to use
Usage instructions:
1. Apply barrier cream (e.g. petroleum jelly) to the scalp or hairline. 2. Use fingers to apply relaxer cream to hair and rub in well. Use all the cream in the jar. 3. Starting close to the scalp, gently comb cream through hair from front to back. Make sure every strand is covered. (A). 4. Starting at the neck, comb from back to front for 10 minutes. (b) 5. Comb hair from front to back again so that it is flat and straight against the scalp. 6. Leave cream on hair for 60 minutes. (c) 7. After one full hour, rinse hair and scalp thoroughly with warm water. (d) 8. Gently dry your hair with a towel. Your hair is now ready for styling. 9. For hair like silk, use regularly with other products from the black silk range. For one application only
Storage instructions:
Store in a cool, dry place.
Warnings:
Product contains ammonium bisulphite. Follow the instructions. Do not relax your hair if you have cuts or scalp irritation, if your hair is in poor condition and breaks easily, or if you have used a hair relaxer other than Black Silk in the last 3 months. Avoid contact with eyes. If product comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed accidentally, seek medical assistance. This product contains ingredient(s) that will cause an irritancy reaction when it comes into contact with skin

Bring back Black Silk on the shelves
This product can’t be discontinued in Namibia it works well on natural hair.
I give it a 5 star rating, since I’ve been using it since 2018 and it has not given me problems.

My hair was very bad the last time I went to the salon in told my hairdresser to just cut my hair because I couldn't bear the pain my hair was unfriendly, strong and unbearable but the day I was introduced to Black Silk it was like magic after using it. Very good
I used the mild relaxer on my daughter's unmanageable coarse hair and it worked. My daughter's hair went from hard and dry to soft and manageable. I am very happy with the results. I will be using this product more. It is also safe on the scalp. Does not burn at all.

I'm based in England however I bought black silk mild relaxer during my visit to S.A following being recommended by a friend. Honestly this product is amazing. One thing I liked about the Black silk Mild relaxer is that it didn't really burn/sting, and neither does it smell of any harsh chemicals.
I used it a month ago when l went from natural to texlaxed and it came out great. My hair came out feeling soft and manageable, however kept my natural texture. l was quite pleased with results as l don't like my hair âbone straightâ anywhere.
It's shame l can't get black silk mild relaxer in England however next time l visit S.A l will buy a few to bring with me. Wish they can increase the bottle size though because of my thick hair l had to use two instead.

disappointing
If you have really Tight and curly hair,it won't really loosen it.....It does not make UR hair look shiney and black after using it..........does not really make UR hair longer,it just straightens it.......This not recommended if it has been long time u relaxed UR hair........This is just disappointing .

Used it, loved it
It's just the best relaxer I ever used; it left my hair very soft and manageable; unfortunately i left SA and I cannot find it anywhere; I am staying natural until I get my hands on it again.
