Thoroughly wet hair, then work in a moderate amount of power wash into hair, gently massaging into hair and scalp. Do not vigorously shampoo. For thicker, coarser textures that are prone to tangles, starting at the roots, shampoo by gently raking fingers through hair, all the way to the ends, carefully working through tangles. Rinse thoroughly, and then repeat to insure hair and scalp are clean and impurities have been rinsed away. Shampoo hair weekly or biweekly for best results. Gently remove excess water from hair and follow with any Aunt Jackie's conditioner. We suggest, Aunt Jackie's Rescued! Recovery conditioner from the grapeseed style & shine collection.

Staple in my Routine
I use this to remove the buildup from products that sits on top of my very low porosity hair. It's not for moisturising in my opinion, but is pretty gentle for a clarifying shampoo which I think is the idea. I always follow with nourishing co-wash purify me& and leave-in curl mane-tenance so any moisture loss is immediately addressed. Can't live without.

Disappointed
I bought this product thinking it all work wonders on my 4C hair but it did the opposite. My hair started breaking soon after using it. I only used it a few times thinking there will be a change but there was none. Its been months since I used it and I am still trying to fix my hair from not breaking.

Amazing
Does exactly what it says. Not one drop of leftover product or buildup after just two washes. Does leave hair slightly dry though so follow up with conditioner.

i love this shampoo.
i love how it leaves my hair squeaky clean without drying it out or stripping it. a little shampoo at a time goes a long way, so it's great value for money. i don't even want to try another shampoo for my 4c coils.
