Usage instructions:
Remove all labels and packaging from the loaf pan. Wash the pan thoroughly with warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Rinse well and dry completely with a soft cloth. Condition the non-stick surface: Lightly coat the interior with a small amount of cooking oil (e.g., vegetable or canola oil) using a paper towel. Gently heat the pan in a low oven (around 150°C) for 5–10 minutes. Let it cool completely, then wipe off any excess oil. This vital step helps prolong the life and effectiveness of the non-stick coating. After each use: Always allow the loaf pan to cool completely before cleaning. Submerging a hot pan in cold water can cause warping or damage to the non-stick coating and the carbon steel. Wash the pan with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. The non-stick surface makes cleaning very easy. For any lingering food residue, allow the pan to soak in warm, soapy water for a short period to loosen it. Crucially, do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, harsh scourers, or metal utensils on any part of the pan, especially the non-stick interior or the matte green exterior. These will scratch, damage, or degrade the coating and finish. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Dry immediately and completely with a soft towel. This is paramount for carbon steel to prevent water spots and, more importantly, rust formation. Ensure no moisture is left in any crevices.
