Contra-indications: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Renal impairment. Acute dehydration. Gastric lesions and disorders. Pregnancy and breastfeeding (see pregnancy and lactation). Warnings and special precautions: Consult your doctor before taking CrampEase Nite in conjunction with medicine that causes increased potassium levels. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for information regarding potassium/medication interactions. Interactions: The following classes of medication in combination with CrampEase Nite can cause elevated serum potassium levels and increases cellular potassium that causes increased potassium. Medication class - active ingredient: Potassium sparing agents - spirinolactone, triamterene, amiloride. Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors - captopril, enalapril, fosinopril. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAID) - indomethacin, ibuprofen, ketorolac. Anti-infective agents - trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazole, pentamidine. Anticoagulant - heparin. Cardiac glycoside - digitalis. Anti-hypertensive agents - beta-blockers. Angiotensin receptor blockers - losartan, valsartan, irbesartan, candesartan. Pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant or lactating women should not use the product without prior consultation with their doctor (see contraindications). Side effects: Should your general health worsen while taking CrampEase Nite, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other health care professional. Known symptoms of overdosage and particulars of its treatment: Possible potassium toxicity could manifest in tingling of hands and feet, muscular weakness, temporary paralysis and more seriously abnormal heart rhythm. Contact your doctor immediately if these symptoms occur. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
