Constipation:
Adults:
Initial dose: 15-30ml given daily by mouth in a single dose or in 2 divided doses and gradually reduced according to the patient's needs.
Maintenance dose: 10-15ml daily.
Children 6-12 years: 20ml daily.
Children 1-5 years: 10ml daily.
Infants under 1 year: 5ml daily.
Chronic portal hypertension and Hepatic encephalopathy:
30-45ml three or four times daily.
Refer to enclosed package insert.
Storage instructions:
Store below 25 degrees C.
Warnings:

Excellent product.
Choose Lacson rather than Laxette. I last bought Laxette and I contracted a bacterial infection. Lacson will leave you feeling comfortable after passing a stool without the after-effect of bloating

Lacson syrup during pregnancy
I'm 29 weeks pregnant, with extreme constipation. I got Lacson syrup from the clinic to soften the stools, at first I drank the whole bottle and all it did was make me bloated so after 6 months of suffering from constipation yesterday I drank 20 ml of it with 2 cups of warm water, as we speak I have been running to the toilet and feel dehydrated... Should I be worried

Constipation away
Lacson is the only constipation relief i tried and it helped me a lot just 150ml as directed and i was able to get my system working well again I was bloated and had a lot of uncontrollable gas that was very uncomfortable but now all that is in the past since i have used lacson...be careful not overdose or underdose

Lacson the best
Dietician advised 2 teaspoons of Lacson first thing in the morning.
The best ever for solutions to IBS.
Prevents constipation plus gas buildup then resulting in constipation/diarrhoea plus cramps. Tried other remedies nothing worked.

lacson has worked for me for years, I suffer from IBS and when I take this I drink a warm cup of tea and it helps alot.

Disappointed
I suffer from constipation. I bought lacson and drank it as directed, all it did was make me bloated. The next day I took a higher dose, more than the one directed, still nothing. Just a lot of gas and disappointment.

Lacson for the win
I suffer from IBS and chronic constipation. I have tried everything on the market - but 2 spoons of lacson does the trick with warm tea. My stool might not be funny but I can go and that the only thing I want- relief.

Lacson Syrup
My 2 year old is always constipated. It gets so bad that she cannot sleep during the night. I've started using the Lacson and it's really been helping her alot.

I love it.
My daughter has a constipation problem. My doctor prescribed Laxette Suppositories and I wasn't really keen on using them on a 15 months old baby. So the Pharmacist at Clicks in Pinetown suggested Lacson.My daughter loves the taste and it works.
