Usage instructions:
Shake well before use. Dosage and directions for use: Antacid: Adults and children over 12 years: 1-3 medicine measures (5-15 ml) with a little water up to 4 times a day or as directed by a doctor. Do not take more than the maximum recommended daily dose in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks except under the advice and supervision of a doctor.

Keep out of reach of children. Contraindications:. Should not be used in patients with impaired renal function as it may lead to hypermagnesaemia (see symptoms of overdosage). Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Do not use this product if you have kidney disease, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Do not use this product as a laxative in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting. Frequent or prolonged use of this preparation as a laxative may result in dependence on laxatives and loss of normal bowel function. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for a period of longer than 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using the laxative. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition. discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not use as a laxative for a period longer than one week unless directed by a doctor. Side effects and special precautions:. Magnesium hydroxide may cause diarrhoea.
