Salon One-Step Hairdryer & Volumiser on Curly "type 3" hair
I'm impressed with how easy it is to use. I wear my mid-back length hair natural curly majority of the time.
I would normally do a quick blow dry on low heat with no brush just to get my hair dry and then do bendy rollers with styling foam for heatless curls overnight to minimize damage.
This is great for a pro blowout look and very quick and I like that it is one product but dries and brush styles in one. Great if you do not have the greatest co-ordination to do a blowout with a blow dryer in one hand and a brush in the other and it is so much quicker.
I do the same process, just rough dry with my hair dryer on low or no heat until my hair is just damp or I will microfiber towel dry to damp. Apply heat protect and then section and give a few passes with the revlon volumiser.
I use the low heat setting on the volumiser too and I end up with shiny big fluffy frizz free hair. I finish with a tiny amount of silicone sealant product and the style holds all week. Sleep with a bonnet lol
I don't like that it is quite heavy, but I only use it now and then and don't mind it too much.
I wish clicks would stock the newer lighter slightly smaller version in South Africa with the detachable head which would be great for travelling and easier to clean and store away.

Nice while it lasted
Mine was great for a while but has now completely packed up. The fan is slow and within seconds of turning it on it starts smoking. Not great for a product at a R1000 price point.

One step hair dryer and volumising brush
This is the best invention as far as hair gadgets go. Seriously gets no better than this!. I have hair that can be difficult in the humid conditions at the coast. This works like a charm and makes drying and straightening my hair, with added volume an absolute pleasure!

Started burning after 3 used
After using it max 3 times the styler broke, handle became really hot and it gave off a burning smell. Afraid to turn it back on. Cannot believe I spent this money on a styler that broke after 3 sessions. Such a disappointment

Amazing!

Still need hair iron
I bought this to *dry* my hair quickly and it works well. It does not however make your hair any straighter than if you say used a normal 2400 watt hair dryer on the middle heat to dry your hair without a brush. It does the same thing. The highest heat setting is the equivalent of the middle heat setting of a good hair dryer. I have wavy, frizzy hair and require a straight iron after using both a hair dryer and this brush, so I wasn't disappointed. You will be disappointed if you expect it to take the place of a straight iron and if you have curly/wavy/thick/frizzy hair. It is just good for drying, it does not straighten/silk press like a hair iron so don't expect it to. I am a bit paranoid about the handle being the same spot where the motor is, and also about the bottom of the brush catching on a long piece of hair - but I'm careful.

manageable with curls
I have seen some reviews where people say this is no-go for curls. It's about technique. This works just fine on my 3b and 3c curls and I have frizz. If you don't know how to use this, there are youtube tutorials on how to use it effectively for curls. You can't just drag it through your hair from root to tip. This product has cut my blow-dry time in half and gets the job done. It's definitely not a bad product.

Curly girls
I've read a review that says it doesn't work for curly hair, I completely disagree. I have really curly frizzy hair and it works wonders! It takes about 40 minutes to do my whole head. Obviously it's not going to be pin straight but it has a nice blow-out look.

Brilliant product. I have curly and frizzy hair..
dried my hair in 5 -10 min the heat is gentle on scalp hair was soft, straight and light.. it's normally straight, dense and flat after drying and flat ironing. I didn't even use a mirror or any heat styling products. Just John Frieda shampoo and conditioner.

I have to tell all the older women out there, if you struggle to blowdry the back of your head as I do, this is the answer. I love this product. I can reach behind my head easily as I only have to hold one item i.e. not a bush and a dryer. The thick handle allows me to use both hands to turn the blower as it shapes and I do my hair in half the time. Love it.

A no no for curly girls
I really wanted to love this product after dropping 1kg on it but I've been left rather dissatisfied. If you have naturally straight hair I'd say go for it but for curly girls you're going to be a frizzy mess after using this brush. The heat has dropped drastically in the last two months of owning it and my R 300 hair dryer does a better job.
