Operation: This appliance should only be used to straighten hair. Do not use the appliance anywhere else, except on your hair. For best results wash, comb and dry hair until just damp to the touch (although the Safeway mini travel straightening brush can be used for touch -ups at any time. 1. Fully unwind the mains cable and plug the mini travel straightening brush into the mains socket. 2. Place the appliance on a flat, level surface. Do not place the appliance on any heat-sensitive surfaces. 3. Press the button marked "I/O" (I) to switch the appliance on and allow the appliance to heat up. 4. Divide hair into manageable sections and comb through. Clip the upper layers on top of your head and out of the way. Work with the bottom layers first. 5. Take a small section of hair and pull hair down and away from your scalp, while holding it tight. 6. Starting at the roots, run the Safeway mini straightening brush down the entire hair strand, from root to tip, in one smooth stroke. Do not hold it in one area for the long period of time. 7. Repeat with all the sections of your hair. 8. When you have finished styling, slide the On/Off switch to turn the unit off, unplug it, and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning or placing it in the storage bag. Styling tips: 1. To make sectioning easier, use butterfly hair clips to hold the sections apart. 2. Use small sections to make styling easier. 3. Start styling from the bottom layers and work towards the top layers.
